【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscoverfactoryfabricated,pre-engineeredabovegroundatmospherictanksystemsintendedfordispensingflammableorcombustibleliquids,suchasgasolineordieselfuel,intomotorvehicles,generators,oraircraft.1.2DeletedNovember13,2000.1.3Tanksystemsincludetheprimarytank,integralsecondarycontainment,integralsupportsandthenecessarycorecomponentsthatallowthesystemtofunctionasintendedandinaccordancewiththeinstallationrequirements.1.4Tanksystemsareevaluatedforinstallationanduseinaccordancewithoneormoreofthefollowingmodelfirecodes:FlammableandCombustibleLiquidsCode,NFPA30;theAutomotiveandMarineServiceStationCode,NFPA30A;StandardforInstallationandUseofStationaryCombustibleEnginesandGasTurbines,NFPA37;StandardfortheStorageofFlammableandCombustibleLiquidsatFarmsandIsolatedSites,NFPA395;StandardforAircraftFuelServicing,NFPA407;andtheUniformFireCode.1.5AllwiringandelectricalutilizationequipmentprovidedaspartofatanksystemshallbeevaluatedforinstallationinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70.1.6Tanksystemscoveredbytheserequirementsarefabricatedand/orassembledinthefactory.Limitedfieldassemblyofsomecomponents,whenrequired,shallbeasdetailedintheinstallationinstructionsprovidedwitheachtanksystem.Subassembliessuchasdispensingdevices,arefabricatedand/orassembledinthefactorywhensuchanassemblyisdescribedintheinstallationinstructions.1.7Theserequirementsdonotaddressunderground,remote-located,orfield-installeditemssuchasemergencyshut-offdevices,field-installedsumps,fieldpiping,fieldwiring,islandsorprotectivebollards(guardposts).1.8Theserequirementsdonotaddressthetankfoundationortheanchoringmethodwhichmayberequiredtopreventupliftfromfloodingormovementduetowindorseismicforces.1.9Theserequirementsdonotaddressthemethodofcorrosionprotection.1.10Aproductthatcontainsfeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsnewordifferentfromthosecoveredbytherequirementsinthisstandard,andthatinvolvesariskoffireorofelectricshockorinjurytopersonsshallbeevaluatedusingappropriateadditionalcomponentandend-productrequirementstomaintainthelevelofsafetyasoriginallyanticipatedbytheintentofthisstandard.Aproductwhosefeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsconflictwithspecificrequirementsorprovisionsofthisstandarddoesnotcomplywiththisstandard.Revisionofrequirementsshallbeproposedandadoptedinconformancewiththemethodsemployedfordevelopment,revision,andimplementationofthisstandard.
