【摘要】:Thisguidecoversthefactorstobecontrolled,precautionsanddocumentationnecessarytomeasureandreportthevoltagedropacrossclosedcurrent-carryingcontacts.Thevoltagedropisanindicationoftheefficiencyofthecontactinterfacesincarryingaspecifiedcurrent.Thisefficiencycanbeadverselyeffectedbyanyinsulatingareaswithinthecontactinterface.Circuitswhichinvolvesubstantialcurrentandlowindependencecanbeinfluencedbythiscontactproperty.1.1Thisguidedescribesrecommendedprocedurestoaccuratelymeasurevoltagedropacrosscurrentcarryingcontactsandtheparameterstobedocumentedinordertoeffectivelyrecordtheresults.Suchcontactsnormallycarrycurrentgreaterthan1amp.Theapplicabilityoftheseprocedurestocontactscarryingsmallercurrentsshouldbeevaluatedpriortoapplicationtosuchdevices.ContactscarryingsmallcurrentmayalsobeevaluatedusingTestMethodB539tomeasurecontactresistance.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtobecomefamiliarwithallhazardsincludingthoseidentifiedintheappropriateMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)forthisproduct/materialasprovidedbythemanufacturer,toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,seeSection6.
